Jennifer Alexander
Jennifer has been in the gymnastics world for the majority of her life as a gymnasts herself, coach and gym owner. She brings a wealth of knowledge to United Gymstars. Jennifer was an accomplished 4 Year Level 10 gymnast and National Qualifier.
She brought her personal experiences with her as she began coaching and has now coached for 15+ years. Jennifer has led many athletes to State Championships as well as Regional Qualifiers and National Qualifiers.

Erin McGaughey
Erin began gymnastics at the age of 3 and it has since been a major part of her life. She trained to accomplish much as Level 9 gymnasts and competing as a Regional Qualifier. She has now coached 6+ years and leads our Compulsory (Levels 2-5) through their competitive seasons.

Xcel Team Coach
Joe White
Joe is an Xcel Team Coach who brings energy and enthusiasm to every practice. He is especially gifted at working with young athletes, helping them build strong fundamentals as they begin their gymnastics journey. Outside of United, Joe cheers for AUM in Montgomery and is majoring in Kinesiology. He also holds his real estate license, reflecting his drive and dedication both in and out of the gym.

Rachel Ward
Rachel Ward is a Recreational Coach with one year of coaching experience. A dance major at the University of Alabama and former competitive studio dancer, she brings strong technique, creativity, and a love for movement to her classes. Rachel enjoys helping young athletes build confidence while developing coordination, rhythm, and foundational skills.

Lucy Biberman
Lucy brings both personal experience and a love for the sport to her classes. She began gymnastics at a young age and competed for three seasons before returning to the sport as an adult, where she now competes as an Xcel Gold gymnast. Lucy is passionate about helping young athletes grow, and she loves seeing children achieve new skills and gain confidence in their abilities.

Adelyn Whiddon
Adelyn Whiddon is a Recreational Coach who brings both experience and a genuine love for gymnastics to her classes. She has been involved in the sport for 11 years and has competed for the past four, currently competing as an Xcel Platinum gymnast. Adelyn’s background, along with her experiences living in multiple states and countries and growing up in a large family, helps her connect easily with athletes of all ages. She is passionate about helping children achieve new skills and build confidence in their abilities.

Jaida Russel
She trained as a competitive gymnast for six years and earned an All-Around State Champion title on vault. Jaida holds a Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science and Wellness from Jacksonville State University. Through her background in both gymnastics and soccer, she has developed a strong passion for movement and helping others grow. Jaida loves supporting athletes as they build skills, confidence, and a belief in themselves both in and out of the gym.

Kimberly Aanerud
Kimberly Aanerud serves as both a Recreational Gymnastics Coach and Front Desk Administrator at United. Inspired by her daughter’s five-year journey as a competitive gymnast, Kimberly was drawn to coaching with a desire to help young athletes build strong fundamentals from the start. She finds great joy in watching her gymnasts grow, reach their goals, and gain confidence along the way.

Tamara Truett
Tamara Truett is a Recreational Coach with one year of coaching experience. She began gymnastics at the age of five and trained through competitive team levels, giving her a strong foundation in the sport. Tamara enjoys helping young athletes build skills, confidence, and a love for gymnastics in a positive and encouraging environment.
